>>1718089> a mod's targeted banning spree is an anomaly that shouldn't exist4chan is moderated with banning sprees, because it frequently gets shitposting sprees. This is not new or somehow abnormal, for example, 8 pages out 10 were deleted from /jp/ every day at some point with moot's full support. Mods are in no obligation to tolerate any kind of rule breaking posts, they can ignore some or give priority to others at their discretion. Problematic threads, specially if they aim to be some sort of permanent feature such as a general, merit more moderation than others.
> admittedly a full board, like /v/ or /a/ can cause unjust moderation to end quite quickly like i've sometimes seen. That has never been the case. It's well thought arguments what convinces administration to consider making exceptions, not mob pressure. /a/ has been bitching for months about two of their generals being moved and a decade old spam thread being deleted to no effect
>but you don't see random deleted posts like this anywhereYes you do, try checking for deleted posts in the archives or for similar bans on /mu/
