I had this on my chest for too long. /k/ is a beautiful place of the internets. For years now some have treaded these threads. However, in the last months (getting worse and worse since 2016) we are getting slowly contaminated by /pol/. Constantly, whatever the subject of a thread is, you will hear about goys and israel, denial, fascists and antifa, and sometime we get threads purely made to breed dissent (e.g the Spanish Civil War recent thread).

Nowaday, every thread with any potential to drift away into slurring and low-level debate degrade rapidly and nothing seems to be done. Could anything even be done? Will we ever again threaten each others' lives and families for purely gun-related reasons only?
