>>59957130>What is the worst school memory you have in your memory? The whole thing.
It was a vast bunch of unnecessary hoops to jump through, and the sheer workload was immense and soul-crippling. Makes you indifferent to almost everything they teach you.
Lost interest in the majority of things I wanted to learn about.
Not only that, but a big portion of your life is decided based on grades alone, and when you're a naive kid nonetheless.
And don't even get me started on the social interactions between other kids. Especially the majority of them that are overconfident and think they're worth something when all they really are is extroverted and lucky.
Teachers should first focus on teaching kids to be decent people, with manners and restraint, but no, most of the teachers are there for the paycheck.
Hell, I don't even blame the teachers, I understand them. They were also raised in this piece of shit system and they're tired of it too, they just want to do the minimum things they need to do at their job, get paid and go home.
And the cherry on top is that you still need school unless you want to work a dead-end slave job, or something strenuous on the body like hard labor.
Plus, it's still not over because now I'm in college and it's still pretty shitty, and now you have to pay for it too.
