What if love isn't the goal?

So hear me out, what if we were looking at affection and love the wrong way. Throughout all of history, men and women formed partnerships for an economic benefit. Love may or may not have occurred but people got married anyway.
You dont really have to do that anymore.
People in advanced countries today only marry or get in relationships for "love" but its not really love its really just for sex and to avoid loneliness.
Wouldn't the ideal relationship be one where you find a partner that you can do good business with and run a tidy household together? I dont see how love has to be involved, just trust.
If you two do a good enough job together, you'll probably fall in love anyway.
What im saying is this obsession over trying to get laid is a jerkoff. Finding a person you can be domestic with is probably the golden ticket to a happy relationship.

Before you could be like:
"Now listen here toots, you've got a sharp eye for sewing and Im a good salesman. Get with me and il turn you into the fashion queen of Paris. Im yours and you're mine. What do you say?"
And today its like: "you're so cute haha, you tryna get some?"
