>got discouraged by the lack of (You)'s and started stressing that it was autistic as fuckStressing over getting (YOU)s is about the worst thing ya can do, amigo.
Don't write for the sake of fame 'n fortune. Write because it's something you want to do, love to do.
If you put out work that you feel happy and proud about, folk will notice and flock to it. If your heart ain't into the writing, it will show, and folk will not want to see where you're taking the tale you're spinning.
As for it bein' autistic... well, all good work needs you to put your all into it. Ya can call it autism. I prefer to call it 'inspiration' and 'determination,' heh.
>also that Rangto's was bigger than mine.Aight. Just because I write a lot does not mean I write good. If I was in your shoes, I would take it as a challenge. A goal to reach for. Punch through your limits and sprint past me to the mountaintop.
Course, I don't consider myself to be good by any means, so I'm sure you can easily surpass me if ya try.
In fact, I want ya to. I want all the writers to go beyond me. All ya'll reach for the sky, heh.
>>40382008This anon here gets it, 'n gets it very, very nicely.
Yes, its sucks when ya put work into something only for it to seemingly get ignored, but again, it ain't about the fame n fortune. It's about telling a good story.
Always remember that just because people don't voice themselves 'bout it, it don't mean they don't appreciate what ya do. Be happy knowing that somewhere out there, the's a person who enjoys what you do and may even be inspired to write themselves.
That, above all else, is one of the things that keeps this here just-barely-above-average writer writin', heh.
This here advice can also apply to artists as well. Matter of fact, you artists are the ones I respect myself the most. Making art... that there's something I know I ain't ever going to be good at.
