>>39676385Fang is a pilot and a commander. Instead of copilots who're mostly just there to back up the pilot in commercial flights, the "copilot" in Vietnam would be in command of the heli. As far as I can tell it wasn't a "real" role in the sense that both pilots would go to briefings etc., but I've taken some liberties to make it more legible. She's the one giving orders during missions.
Anon is a pilot. In reality he'd sometimes swap to commander, but that would probably get confusing as fuck, so he's just doing all the flying.
Trish is a crew chief. She's in charge of all the maintenance, acts as a spotter in flight, helps out in the cabin, and would act as a door gunner if they weren't flying in a medevac heli with no fixed armaments. She's still got an m16 because... I dunno, but that's apparently how they did it.
Reed is a medic. He's only there because they're in a medevac heli, and he's in charge of keeping casualties breathing.
I should really go over exactly what all these roles mean in part 1, before they end up flying. Might add some more text to explain how it fits together.
