>>39808314>Trish seemed like she wanted the band in so far as it could get more popular and monetizable, she both pushed for larger venues and to sell more merchandise.Trish is as much of a social reject as Fang was, and Trish's solution for this was to become rich and famous to show everyone (but specifically her peers) that she was right and they were wrong. Unfortunately for Trish, her route to becoming rich and famous wasn't driven by talent, or passion, or a general idea of what she was doing, but by 'uniqueness' and 'self-expression', which of course isn't actually profitable on a wide scale. Fang was essentially aimless, her trauma involving Naser and lack of attention from her parents drove her into social rejection alongside Trish, and over a decade of playing piano/guitar got her essentially nowhere, so Fang figured that if Trish was right about the bullshit with their band it would fix all of Fang's issues.
Not only was Trish not right, she was so wrong that it drove Fang further into all sorts of internal and external issues that were never going to be solved by Trish or Naomi or Naser or anyone else because they either didn't care enough, didn't know enough or couldn't get close enough to really peel apart all the layers and get into the very core of the issue. Even if Trish was right, it wouldn't have fixed anything anyway, because Fang at her core is not interested in making money but playing music she wants to play, which she can't do in Trish's band.
>I don't think you can get a good ending if you refuse to play guitar with Fang.Unfortunately not really how it works, snootgame uses a basic incremental score system, with every correct choice giving you a point and every incorrect one giving you nothing, which means there's a wide combination of things you can do that will still result in the same ending.
