>>39904771Tip from a guy in a professional band, you can't go wrong with Ibanez. Not my tip mind you, friend of mine. Not that other brands don't produce good guitars, but from what I understand the quality is hit or miss, while Ibanez is pretty solid almost all the time. The gio models are the low end of what you can get because they're a mass produced model from japan or wherever, but even then they're perfectly serviceable as a beginner guitar.
