>>40130472You don't if the same character is speaking for multiple lines. You can even have a dialog tag, state an action/detail, and keep going with the character dialog as long as it is the same character performing it.
Example: "Hey mega-faggots," Trish says, then kicks Reed in the groin. "Hope you're doing better than this rosy raptor, here."
However, if a single character is reciting multiple paragraphs worth of info, there are ways to break it up with quotations.
Example: Trish inhaled deeply before recting her favorite 'Ctrl, Alt, Del' comic, "words words words.
"Words words words.
"Words words. Words."
In this case, when indenting a new paragraph for the same character speaking at length, you mark the indent with a quotation so everyone sees it, but you don't mark the end to tip the reader that they're still going.
