For example, fluffies are colorful, artificially created quadrupeds with low intelligence, so if someone tried to pass a regular horse as a fluffy it would be obvious that the fandom wouldn't consider it a fluffy. As the very premise of fluffies has always been that they're friendly creatures that want everyone to be happy, you should understand how making them the equivalent of hentai rapists does not fit in the classic hivecanon.
For comparison, the hellgremlin fandom has their own hivecanon that is equally incompatible with the classic one. Simply go visit the booru and find a picture where fluffies show any form of self-sacrifice, and read how the hellgremlinists scream in comments about how that's not how any fluffy would act.
