>>39356899I think you need to replay Ending 4 again if you honestly think that. In Ending 3 she's resigned herself to her fate, and while she plays the piano again, that's only because she's trying to be a good tradwife for Anon and putting on a facade that can be shattered in a moment. As the /lit/ anon said who helped revise the script, she's just putting on another mask. She's content more than she is happy. She doesn't need to completely hate Trish for one incident. It was jealous and spiteful of her to do so, but you're not thinking of Trish's perspective, which is still important, considering how often Spears' words of "You're not the only person in the world" comes up. Trish admits that she was a stupid jealous bitch, and Anon admits to being a bitch too, and they make up with each other during prom night. I get that you guys just want your idealized housewife, but Fang is Fang, not some trophy wife for you to glorify. Ending 3 doesn't allow her to be herself the same way Anon says that he's just himself. Trish might have been enabling her habits, but I believe deep down she really did think she was helping her, even if it took her until Anon to make her realize just how controlling and manipulative she had been. The fact that Anon doesn't stoop down to her level clearly shows just how far he's come, and how much Trish herself needs to grow before she can be accepted by Fang again. She was so depressed that she was clearly starving herself, and Fang does stick up for herself against her multiple times after the auditorium incident.
