I remember reading a Zootopia (shut the fuck up) Judy x Nick fic and I was getting pretty into it until the writer suddenly made Nick a hippy Buddhist and Judy a demigraysexual or whatever made up title, and it was completely jarring and took me right out of it. felt liek I had wasted a good twenty minutes. I was pissed.
That said, I'm not sure fi I remember anything like that happening here recently? Maybe the footfag fic, but even then, people who were sickened by the fetish were laughing at the end.
