Just got ending 3 after getting 4, I can totally see why people think taht's the best ending, and I agree.
Ending 4 is the pefect clean cut happy ending, everyone is satisfied with their lives, are happy and friends, no bad blood left over, incredibly sweet and tender, but feels very fantastical considering how some of these characters acted during highschool, very 'power of friendship/love solves everything'
Ending 3 is the still happy, but realistic, more grounded, and kinda bittersweet ending, not everything goes according to plan, a lot of things go wrong, friendships strayed even further, dreams are given up, and loved ones are hurt, both physically and emotionally, but the characters still matured, and the genuine love they feel for one another is what's going to slowly mend the fractures in their lives.
/v/ made a game that got me crying, legit. If any of the devs are reading this, fucking amazing job guys.
