Like i said, im not a practiced write-fag to the point that i literally forgot about the grammatical purpose of a semi-colon when that would in fact solve a lot of my problems as you pointed out. Better to get my feelings hurt than waste more hours trying to write something emotionally compelling that falls apart because the reader cant take it seriously due to poor grammar.
Having my writing be referred to as ESL does sting a bit though seeing as a command of the english language is something i at least believed that i possessed. When i very first started writing one of the criticisms i received was purple prose if you can believe it.
Still, thanks for taking time to read and critique. Wish I got more of it in my past works so that i'd actually be able to make something good for /snoot/
