Maybe light bleeding, but the generally opaque nature of the dress lends it a denser, thicker air, which might mean that is closer to punching a hole in skin.
Of course, it could also be something akin to fingernails because "alien biology" so it doesn't necessarily have to hurt if something happens to the dress. Hell you could argue that you could cut it off and style it to make it appear like a mini-skirt or something.
Course this means its now a thing that continually grows, so how is it treated by wild variants of the pokemon and- Anyway, you're here for smut, I won't bother you with pointless worldbuilding.
