Gay men are more interested in fashion due to hetero women's evolutionary need to gain social capital in the tribe because that is how they and their offspring survived their vulnerable pregnancy and first few years with a helpless baby. Their brains developed similarly and so they have the same traits.
Whether "body image" is part of this and gender dysphoria is innate or due to homosexuals wishing they had the socially accepted traits of the opposite biological sex I am not sure. There are 3 difficult to accept truths we can be sure of though.
1: being gay is permanent, the right will have difficulty accepting this, however left wing political strategists do not advertize this fact because it leads to the following
2: there are biologically determined behavioral differences, the extreme left believes in tabula rasa and doesn't like this
3: these differences can be determined scientifically, they are not pick and choose
Some people will never accept this, they will see it as a stereotype or a conspiracy to push stereotypes and it will stir up memories of high school in Texas, they want control over what is considered right and wrong, an important distinction if they intend to use taxpayer money for something. They will squawk till kingdom come and occassionally clash with folks like Steven Pinker, there is not much they can do however, gradually more and more people will accept the science and outnumber them.
In a few decades it will come to a choice, people with triple digit IQs or other rising right wing groups like muslims.
