I don't deny there is natural asymmetry. Women are always going to be choosier. But it is quite clear that things have been artificially thrown out of balance by the inescapable messages that women in particular have been exposed to:

Look at all of these pathetic men messaging you constantly, you can wait!

It isn't the fault of women, how would that even be possible? Humans would have self destructed long ago.
