America: The Motion Picture

No.135495976 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
I don't understand what it is supposed to be.
Is it meant to be a parodic retelling of the American revolution for zoomers? But it isn't funny.
Why is Abraham Lincoln in this for two seconds? They could have picked any contemporary to fill the role, but they choose a random president from a complete time period.

Everything is so random, it reminds me of Newgrounds cartoons.

If you are gonna insert random modern shit to the 18th century, why not just set the entire movie in the modern day?

The Simpsons died many years ago
Primal declined (and may be over)
Smiling Friends was just OK

Do I even like /co/ntent? Is there something I've missed?

Official Win-O'-Thread

No.135481132 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
>What is this thread?
Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books.
Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere.
Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't).
If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how.
Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.

>Where can I find old Win-O'-Threads?
http://desuarchive.org/co/search/subject/Official%20Win-O'-Thread/
http://boards.fireden.net/co/search/subject/Official%20Win-O'-Thread/
(Note: This finds the OP for old threads. If you want to search for comics in the archive, clear the subject field!)

>Where can I find downloads for other comics?
Warez forums/blogs, DDL-indexing search engines (like FilesLoop), torrent trackers (like 1337x) and other P2P networks (like DC++).
If a link has been posted on 4chan, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links).
If all else fails, just >buy it.

>Where can I buy comics?
http://www.amazon.com/
On the various publishers' webstores, and at your local comics shop.

>Where can I find an LCS?
http://www.comicshoplocator.com/

>Where can I find out when new comics are released?
http://www.comiclist.com/index.php
http://www.previewsworld.com

>How do I download from websites that only give me .exe files?
Untick the checkbox under the download button.

>How can I find this thread every week?
If you are using the inline extension go to http://4chan.org/co/official or use the option under "Filters & Post Hiding".
If you have 4chanX go to Settings > Filter > Subject and add the following line:
/Official Win-O'-Thread/;highlight

MeTV’s Super Colossal Cartoon Christmas

No.127643880 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
TONIGHT at 8PM ET / 7PM CT is the very first “Toon in With Me” 2-hour-long primetime special. Enjoy 9 classic Christmas-themed cartoons hosted by Bill the Cartoon Curator and Toony the Tuna.

Featured tonight is the premiere of a brand new restoration of “Somewhere in Dreamland”, which is the first in an initiative by Max Fleischer Cartoons LLC to preserve and restore the entire Paramount-owned Fleischer library. Reception to this broadcast is key to determining whether this project goes forward.

Here are tonight’s featured cartoons:

>Gift Wrapped (Warner Bros, Friz Freleng, 1952)
>One Ham’s Family (MGM, Tex Avery, 1943)
>Gifts from the Air (Screen Gems, Ben Harrison, 1937)
>The Peachy Cobbler (MGM, Tex Avery, 1950)
>Somewhere in Dreamland (Fleischer, Seymour Kneitel, 1936) BRAND NEW RESTORATION
>The Fright Before Christmas (Warner Bros, Friz Freleng, 1979)
>Bedtime for Sniffles (Warner Bros, Chuck Jones, 1940)
>Seasin’s Greetinks! (Fleischer, Seymour Kneitel, 1933)
>The Night Before Christmas (MGM, Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, 1941)

Q&A:

>What the Heck is “Toon in With Me”?
“Toon in With Me” is a cartoon block celebrating the Golden Age of Animation and a tribute to classic regional cartoon blocks from the bygone age of television with hosts and sketches. Featuring cartoons from Warner Bros, MGM, Fleischer, Screen Gems, and DePatie-Freleng

>Where can I watch this?
MeTV is available for FREE via antenna in most regions across the USA, as well as most cable packages. or, if you’re a pirate: https://vaughn.live/rubberchickens
