>>114201162It was pretty heavy backpedaling though to revert PB back to adulthood. Adventure Time was generally very adventurous in what they did with characters but that was the main "good" criticism for it on /co/, that AT would always return to the status quo after a big episode. It was a big deal for fans when PB and Finn had their moments in Mortal Folly/Recoil and when PB got changed to Finn's age, and all that fun and daring-ness was dampened when boards of S3 eps were leaked showing PB aged back up. Breezy was the same in a way, it was a huge deal for fans when Finn lost his arm at the end of The Citadel because Finn losing his arm was something hinted at for years, but while there's a huge impact when it actually happens it loses that ooomph only what, two episodes later when his arm regrows at the end of Breezy.
I actually love Breezy though, it's one of my top five AT eps. It's the sort of episode you never get to see in normal action toons, a whole ep where the hero is depressed from a breakup.
