In light of the recent cancelling of Justin Roiland, some interesting animation industry exploits have been exposed by ex-YouTube Pooper, and current-day animator, Nicholas Walstrom (otherwise known as Walrusguy). Walstrom has confirmed multiple things about men in animation, and also confirmed that about half of the things in that EZ PZ western animation industry expose are actually true. Some highlights include:
>Alex Hirsch is indeed a trashcan shitter
>Joe Barbera was a serial sexual harasser and PR covered for him, saying "He's just from a different time." This is one of those "open secrets"
>Dino Stamatopoulos (Moral Orel creator) is a gross cocaine addict, and he raped Gillian Jacobs
Nicholas has grown so tired of the industry, for these reasons and many more, that he has since retired from studio animation, and is exclusively indie now. I hope he continues to find indie work, as he's actually a really good animator with a lot of talent.
