>>144750992>Once again, avoiding the question.Unless it's my own kid, it's not my question to answer. I'm more familiar with this than most because I care enough to know what I'm talking about. I also know enough to say that an endocrinologist knows more about what puberty blockers would do to a kids development than I do. The comparison to lobotomies is flawed, too. When they were introduced in the 20th century, there was no existing understanding of business anatomy as it is now, nor its relation to any number of afflictions, nor how attacking the frontal lobe mechanically relieved or modified symptoms. It was quite literally the only option that occasionally worked, and they disappeared rapidly as the first psychoactive drugs came along. Since then we've advanced at an astronomical pace, and the level or research and understanding of how certain treatments influence the body and interact with each other and so on is much more intricately understood. The mechanisms originating many disorders aren't as well understood as their treatments, but what is known is that even nonpharmaceutical affirmative care between therapy and social transition improve outcomes for affected people. It's supported not because it's what they have, it's supported because there's decades of research and improvement upon these systems of care.
>that's on the dems who did block itI think you're missing the point that the "block" was only two days, wasn't aimed at killing the bill, and was prompted by wanting to improve it. There's a gray area in trafficking where the trafficked become accomplices to it, with provisions for those desired as an amendment.
