Holy fuck, Inspector Gadget really did have the best animation out of any show on at the time. I can't believe it came out the same year He-Man did, because this blows He-Man out of the water animation-wise
How was it able to have this good of animation? What behind the scenes stuff made it possible for the animation to be so fluid and impressive for 1983?
>Part of what made smash popular was the non-woke game design of making it a party game >Fun Stages with a lot having unique mechanics >Fun items from across Nintendos IP >Even though there's a pro-scene from a game design perspective they never focuses too hard on solely catering to pro-scene instead of the casual fun aspect
Multiverses >No items >Each stage is just a reskinned Final Destination. SO you have Final Destination Batman Stage, Final Destination Rick and Morty Stage Etc Etc >Very obviously designed for an artificial e-sports scene and GaaS shit and not for the party game aspect. >Instead of fixing this for all the time they were reworking the game they double down on it.
So, I decided to watch my first DC animated movie. I was impressed. I liked the plot a lot, enjoyed the various character designs and ADORED Owlman's costume. It was tons of fun until the very end. Are all DC animated movies this good?
(On a footnote, it should be illegal to be this sexy. Holy hell, you just know that somebody working on this had an executrix fetish.)
Why the hell are they making a show focused on Velma? At the best of times the Scooby gang is enjoyable because of their chemistry as a group (see Mystery Inc.).
And at all other times you just want to watch the funny stoner and his dog.
