>>35989839As someone who returned after a few years of absence, it was initially sparked by nostalgia. I left around late 2014, and last year it had been long enough since then that I was starting to miss it.
I was just curious to see if the fandom was still around, I assumed it was completely dead and gone, and also wanted to check out the last season.
I remember actually telling myself “Oh, I bet /mlp/ got removed years ago” and being pleasantly surprised to see it was still here. Then I was telling myself “I’ll check this place every now and then but I’m n-not getting b-back into ponies or anything haha”. Then before I knew it I was pulled right back in, and now I’m actively using and browsing this board every day again.
