keep in mind the scene where pinkie is trying to explain the situation to rarity outside her boutique and she gets blown off or near the end where she is trying to tell the others what's going on and applejack just calls pinkie retarded and starts walking away.
saying she "alone carries most of the blame solely" is just wrong

Talking things over is even more important when you don't understand what the person is trying to do and why.
