Before the internet found him he already put mall cops and his superintendent as villain for his comic because they were the few people telling him how to behave in public. He got a pity degree that he never used. He only had a single job for 2 months selling knives before getting fired from that. His own father gave up on him after that and taught him how to basically live of the government disability paycheck.
Plenty of people tried multiple time to reach him during his many, many sagas, and he never believed them. He ALWAYS goes for the one who promise what he wants over the one who warns against the former.
It's a whole lot of things, but the gist of it, Chris had a bad hand delt to him, but is also a very selfish, egotistical ass who will NEVER admit to doing anything wrong, as he just did again here.
