>>37260930This is fucking great! Especially with the SFX. The editing is good and adds a lot to it. I actually laughed out loud a ton throughout.
Also hearing you speak in an american accent is cursed as fuck but I love it>any feedback would be welcome. There's a few points, like at 6:50, where it looks like the zoom, cropping and panning across the image fall out of sync with each other. Might look a little better if they stay in sync with one another. I thought there was a few points in which the ordering of the posts didn't make sense too, but on a second watch through I couldn't find any of them so possibly just due to my own failure to comprehend the first time around.
>got any tips for how to get the best outputs and post-processing for good vocal effects on singing and rap stuff? Most of the standard stuff applies, like intentionally misspelling words if it mispronounces, and changing the text/audio input where it consistently breaks down. Apart from that, if you plan on using your own voice as the reference audio, I suggest recording and trying multiple different takes, and cutting out any dead space from the beginning and ending of the input audios.
For FX, I generally like to go for Multiband compression, and a 2-3 second quiet reverb. I'm not sure how Audacity works with VSTs but I think it should be compatible with OTT, which is a free plugin I use a lot for compression:
https://xferrecords.com/freewareFor vocals I generally go for 50% depth and Lo gain as low as it'll go. If you apply reverb to it beforehand, make the volume of the reverb effect lower than you want it to be, cause the compression will raise the volume of it wherever there's dead space in the vocals. This can help to make the reverb stand out, though whether or not that's desirable depends on what you're going for. You could also just apply reverb after the compression, again which is better depends on what you want.
