"So, I'm carrying what's left of you in my necklace, then? Seems a rather small prison for someone such as you." You snark back at her.
"What's left of my power on your world, yes. It is not a prison, however- merely a vessel. I have no illusions of you using this bauble to free me- it is not where I am sealed. But the remainder of my chakra inside allows me to communicate with you."
"And allows you to impersonate my mother." you spit.
Her slight smile fades.
"If I have upset you, I apologize. It was not my intention. You must excuse me- a young girl such as yourself should not be without her mother." she explains.
Even in apologizing, she makes your blood boil-
"So I offered myself as a surrogate. But, I suppose it is not the same."
"No, it isn't. What is it you want, Kaguya?" You retort.
Her small smile returns.
"There are some people I would like you to meet. They could really use your help- and I am in no position to help them. They have been nothing but loyal to me- and do not deserve the punishment they have received."
"You mean the Rabbits?" you grumble. It had been a hard scene to forget- the rabbit matron alone on that cliffside.
"Yes. There is another there- a human. The last human, if memory serves." She recalls.
You did remember seeing a small boy, scavenging among the scarred battlefield...
"He, too, was born into this world, forced into a destiny he did not ask for. It is no longer my place to intervene in human affairs- but you should know, all the same. He is probably quite lonely there, being all alone."
You weigh your options. While she makes some sense, you are still rather upset about her taking your mother's form- though she did apologize.
She's also some sort of space-chakra-diety. You aren't really sure how safe it is to make agreements with such a thing- and the... other visitors to your dream didn't seem to like her all that much.
