My lady, it is good to engage you in correspondence again (perhaps you remember that I wrote to you to arrange a place for my eldest son at wonderful academy?).
I write now with a proposal; as you may be aware, there is a lot of talk about forthcoming trouble with some sort of demonic incursion. With this in mind I have been considering some improvements to my military forces.
I will be attending the harvest festival in Arcashire this autumn, and I thought I could drop by on the way (with your permission, of course) and see what your ingenious craftsmen have come up with in the way of new weaponry (or whatever else you might have in the way of devices to assist in military matters), with a view to placing a substantial order to equip my men.
