People in here will wax on and off about "no girls will touch this hobby", but there are plenty of girls who already do and I think everyone of my tabletop friends who are married or dating met their girl at a table.
I mean, TRPGs by default allow any character you can imagine and fantasy stories in general will tell the perspective from both male and female sides.
There really isn't as much to attack in the table top region as there is in the video game region. That's not to say that video games are inherently closed off to women either, but with a video game, you're marketing a story that, 90% of the time, has a male protagonist. It's easier to make a stand on that.
Another contributing factor is the fact that TRPGs are inherently social by nature, whereas video games are antisocial, so frankly video gamers just don't really know how to tell bitches to step the fuck off like how hollywood told them to fuck off when they tried attacking movies.
