>>61686747Upon hearing of this the chapter Master of the Flesh-lord laughed at the general for 45 minutes straight & preceded to personally congratulate the Catachan sergeant, provide a cybernetic leg for the Trooper that had no leg and even offer one of the younger members, one private Chaz, a place in the chapter after he proved compatible with the gene-seed, he accepted & has since risen to the rank of sergeant, refusing to rise any higher... for some reason
in battle Sgt. Chaz wields his Knife (though it is more Akin to a Sword) that he crafted him-self before enlisting in the guard, since then changing only the grip (to fit his power-armoured hand) and adding a power-field generator(and only then at the insistence of the Chapter master as he still holds that power-fields are finicky liability's and if his should fail then the knife itself would perform just as well without it) he is known to wield one of those twin-linked belt-fed bolters you sometimes see
Chaos marines using (the chapter maintains that it's a relic from the great crusade
its not and not two bolters stuck together and modified to take belts
it is) he also likes to use a custom built
by him shhhh combi-flamer that has had two extra under-barrel flamers added onto it(making it more a flamer with a bolter attachment). The chapter Master has decreed that on most missions he can only bring one as he "can't have both, this isn't like having two bolters these guns are hard to replace, half the chapters combi-flamers went into that super combi-flamer and we don't have many of those old combi-bolters. He brings only one & he leaves the other in the armoury so someone else can use it". like the rest of his chapter he is skilled in stealth and terror tactics but Chaz is also particularly adept at jungle/forest combat(unsurprisingly) able to stand directly behind some targets without their realising (well more so then his fellows)
