Rest of the party got dirt on the prosecutor and were ready to put the screws on the jurors should the lawyering character fuck up
The short version is that it was a post apocalypse game that got to high power levels after over two years of campaign, and we got permission to enter the famed final bastion of civilization we had heard about for a while in the campaign.
It was a huge walled city where everything was in order and things were tidy and neat.
Due to saving some influential dude involved in the city's politics the characters all got given wonderful housing, resources, etc.
Then they were told they had to also do work.
My character was assigned some shit job that I don't even remember, but I do remember he was to take the bus there.
I should say, my character was a human mutant with scaled skin near his upper arms and on his legs, and had an enhanced adrenal gland that could cause him to basically go into bullet time when shit got real, but also made him incredibly impatient and an adrenaline junkie.
He was also the group's driver for their adventures in the wasteland.
So here he is, getting on this bus, losing his shit because it's been almost 12 hours since he last did something exciting, when he sees the bus moving slow (like 30 mph or some shit)
So this guy who gets on the bus wearing jeans and a fucked up shirt instead of the nice clothes he was given, approaches the bus driver and tells the driver to let him drive.
Driver asks him to retake his seat. Words escalated
My character failed the check to not lose his cool due to the penalties from being so long since he did something thrilling.
He headbutt the driver, beat him bloody, and almost threw him out of the out of control bus before the incident ended in a crash.
No one died, but my character was the only one to come out of it unharmed.
He got arrested and the trial happened.
