"Marketing being less open" is the exact OPPOSITE thing they should be doing right now, especially in wake of what is, as far as we can tell, the superior product in every way that matters for a VN. If they've actually done a shit ton of work on the game, especially given they cancel culture'd their last writer and started over with the plot, we really should see that so they can put to rest if it's actually any good or not and let people judge on its own merits. Given all we actually DO know is what was in that reveal trailer.
