>>36648703Pony Life is a great example because it's so similar in many ways: it's a shitty spinoff from FiM, widely agreed to be of terrible quality and not worth watching, hated by a few, ignored by most, and loved by a small subset of users.
However, there's a big difference: a few months in, you can barely find a Pony Life post anywhere, outside of the occasional and rare thread about it. So, it just gets ignored, and it gets barely posted.
Meanwhile, years later, EqG is as alive as ever. There are literally at least half a dozen EqG generals up at one time. Are you saying those only exist because fags are angry at it? No. That's the main difference. There are a lot more people genuinely only here for EqG, than there are people enjoying Pony Life.
So if we ignore it, they'll just keep posting it as if nothing's wrong, and they won't stop just because nobody's yelling at them. Yes, I've been here for years too, and I've seen the board being mostly quiet about it, and yet it didn't die away. So now everyone's had enough and is speaking out - which is immediately used as an excuse, "we post it because it makes you mad huehuehuehue".
This is trivally disproven when you consider that you've been posting it for years, long before the current divide has started really heating up. What was your excuse three, four years ago?
