Ordinarily I'd agree with you for a research paper or some other such thing, but if the Wikipedia article doesn't at least somewhat reflect the content of what it then says it's referencing, then what's the point of any of it? Literally anything could be anything and the sources, while correct, wouldn't be reflected on Wikipedia at all.
