>>238665770 .... When he was still alive, Miura said, "I told no one but you, Mori, this story in its entirety." And it was true. It was too big a responsibility. I thought, should I tell the fans in an interview? Or should I publish an article with illustrations? But that wouldn't communicate the scenes Miura described to me, or the lines of Guts and Griffith...
While I was trying to decide what to do, I received a message.
"The team says they will finish the last chapter that was stopped, could you take a look?"
The last few pages of the chapter were incomplete. Some of them didn't have characters drawn on them yet.
I looked at the script, not expecting much.
Desperation can drive people to create miracles - there it was, the complete manuscript for Berserk.
"Mr. Mori, can we do this?"
Miura's assistants, of whom Miura was so proud during his lifetime, asked me straight out.
The company director Mr. Shimada, a mentor to me and Miura, also said, "If you do it, the company will fully support you."
I thought, if I run away now, Miura would tell me:
"I told you so much about it, but you didn't do it!"
Okay. I'll do it right.
I have a message and a promise for everyone. I will remember as much of the details as possible and tell this story.
I will write only the episodes that Miura told me about. I will not deviate. I won't write episodes that I don't remember clearly. I will only write the lines and stories that Miura described to me. Of course, it won't be perfect. But I think I can almost tell the story that Miura wanted to tell.
The talent of Miura's assistants is real!
They are brilliant artists.
Many of you may not be satisfied with this Berserk written without Miura, but we hope everyone's thoughts will be with us.
We ask for your support."
