Planned network provider replacement will occur with downtime the entire day of 2/16 or 2/17.
Vinyl Record: Highest quality form of analog audio, which makes up for its lack of dynamic range by being cool and not quantizing the very sound-waves imprinted upon its groovy vinyl surface.
Compact Disk (CD): That odd but pleasant hybrid of physical and digital.
Cassette Tape (More novelty than a CD but do you really want all your music to be deteriorated a few decades from now?)
Self-Playing Instruments (Ultimate novelty format, but most inconvenient out of all physical formats given the maintenance and difficulty of acquisition.)
32-Bit 192 kHz Waveform Audio File (WAV). At this point, it's basically analog; still soulless, but you can't really hear the difference.
Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC)—Because why would you bother with a WAV file if it isn’t 32-Bit 192 kHz audio?
Anything not on the list should not exist, lossy compression is disgusting and it should be illegal to sell an objectively inferior format of something that is supposed to be an art-form.
Did you know that iTunes sells AAC (lossy format) files and there is no option to download your music in a lossless format? Fuck iTunes. anyone else who has been unknowingly payed full price for an inferior format should start a lawsuit, but as if that would go anywhere. Imagine trying to explain file formats to a lawyer?
I already listen to Death Grips, JPEGMAFIA, Busdriver, Quelle Chris, Shabazz Palaces, Eyedea, Lil Ugly Mane, Clouddead, Clipping, Milo, Open Mike Eagle, Dalek Injury Reserve, Aesop Rock, Danny Brown, Cannibal Ox, Kool Kieth and a few others, but I would like to listen to more.
TL;DR: I already listen to a ton of abstract hip hop artists, but I want to listen to more. Please, recommend me the weirdest shit you know of.
I was banned from /mu/ for a while but I kept making posts that I wasn't able to actually submit. I saved pics of them so that I'd be able to submit them when my ban expired.
I'll be dumping all 39 pics now. I redacted the content of some of them.
