How can a country of 106 million people not have single musician who isn't completely worthless?

Noise is a genre for talentless hacks.

Now don't get me wrong, noise in general is awesome. Masonna, Incapacitants, Government Alpha, and of course Merzbow are very committed to their craft, and musicians could learn a thing or two from how confidently these artists take down all preconceived notions of what music should sound like. A lot of people who make "regular" music could benefit from researching noise and its subgenres, perhaps even making it.

That's just it, though. You never see a noise artist transition from noise to "regular" music. I can name a plethora of artists who have done the opposite, but find me even one person who made noise and decided to switch things up without taking the piss.

Bands like Anal Cunt and The Gerogerigege don't count, by the way. I could'nt give a single fuck about a fatass making fun of love ballads, or low-test dark ambient from one of the most high-test acts to ever exist. I'm talking about actual sincere music.

Show me one (1) musician that started their discography with noise music, and went on to actually write songs instead of fucking with pedals and computers all day.
