>hear some cool foreign music labeled 'louna_pain'
>don't know what they're saying but there's a good melody, good vocals, good instrumentals
>spend fifteen minutes searching for the song on youtube, turns out it's a song called 'fight club'
>it continually references the movie of the same name and has a whole 'you're a serf revolt now!!!!' dynamic

So why is iTunes considered a shit music player? Why are players like MusicBee so much better? Genuinely curious.

I have GOT to get out of this fucking town. been here far too long, out in boise butt-fuck Idaho. let's just say I'm a stoner- for good enough reasons, and I've chosen a career in music (reggae, blues, alt.) and cinema/online media, both for genuine interest and cause. but my environment is completely zapping my strength away. I'm sure had I not gotten the important realizations I did here 6 or so years back, I might've even wanted to become part of this stagnant, bigoted society I see around me, but how could I possibly stay here now? with dreams that could take me anywhere, but no road out of here, I'm feeling seriously ill. so, if you might, list off your top five favorite reggae/ska/alt albums you'd listen to to calm that sort of illness.

the only ones I could think of were:
#5 rebelution- courage to grow
#4 the expendables- gettin' filthy/Open Container
#3- slightly stoopid- Everything You Need
#2- sublime- 40 oz. to freedom
#1- pepper- kona town
