This was the first album I actually ever sat down and listened to when I was ten and I always imagined that the whole thing told the story of a mundane ordinary guy who thinks himself as a superhero, fighting in 'world wars' (Airbag) and with his origin story and stuff mentioned in songs like Let Down, and then how the whole fantasy falls down and he succumbs to the dreary reality of his situation. I know there's better albums, but this one's always stuck with me for that character it builds, and you find out more about each time you give it a listen.

he took it out because it wasn't recorded in 1967, they added it while rerecording during the 'surf's up' album in 1971 (fun fact, it was acutally brian who came down stairs and told them to put the child is the father of the man reference in that part of the song). little does that guy on youtube know, the second and last sections of surf's up were supposed to be fully arranged with a full band, but the recordings of those parts were lost or stolen or not completed. literally the holy grail of beach boys stuff, now that smile sessions has been released

This guy does magic, he can isolate the vocals from the piano demos. This is Brian vocals from 1966 with the backing track of BWPS. He also made clean versions with no piano of Im in Great Shape and Barnyard that are better than TSS imo.

HHG is just cancer, /mu/ loved Perfect Hair when it came out last year. It takes people that actually like hip hop to like both Driver and trap and hhg is just middle class suburbanites so naturally they're drawn to trap because listening to rap that sounds like it was made for white people makes them insecure.

It is unbelievably disrespectful that EDM trap took the name and some of the production qualities of trap (mostly 808 kick line as the bass) and then called itself just trap, and its fans defend it as if its the real trap. Why arent people more mad? No one is making an electronic genre called metal and then saying its the real metal, everyone would flip out and shit on it.
