To me he is just some unemployed autistic manchild who is obsessed with comics who makes writes shitty music all day because he cant get a real job and he has no reputable skills AT ALL. His music sucks so baaaaad i cant put my finger on what he is doing wrong. In fact i dont think i can tell what he is doing wrong because he is actually doing EVERYTHING WRONG.
His verses get too long and out of place with the rhythm, he can't sing, the style are too reppetitive, he plays the same simplified rhythm over and over, and he has played the same EXACT SHIT FOR 19 YEARS and he wonders why he has never got to mainstream or even a decent amount of success. He sucks and he will remain and an indie failout because he has failed to grasp various opportunities given to him and has instead put out the same crap year after year. I can say his very small niche of fans are just some hipster teeny boppers out of some small corner of new york who dont even know what a real taste in music looks like.
I dont know. I just cant stand the genre at all. He just wreaks of simplified beats and rhythmic Grunge or should i say 'Grunge-garbage' from the Nirvana age that i think is a age we should all trash and forget once and for all. Admit it, the 90's mainstream was a load of crap and also was the so-called 'anti-folk' scene from lower east Manhattan that somehow sprang up this comic obsessed autistic caveman retard known as 'Jeffrey Lewis'.
If Jeffrey 'The anti-folk faggot hero' Lewis ever comes back out to California again (as i would say this is where i live) I will purposely travel to wherever his show is and heckle him while he is on stage and holler some boos and a couple of 'You suck!'s and then i will go out of my way to throw some rotten tomatoes at his ugly autistic manchild face.
