Easily answered. There used to be an independent black music infrastructure--radio stations, DJs, labels and so forth that doesn't exist anymore. There is only absolutely low effort corposlop shit out by UMG et al who don't really care about black music in general and just put out the most low effort possible product to check off a box on a list. That's all it is, really.
