/mu/ - after the witchhouse, seapunk and vaporwave genres seemingly came out of nowhere, it appears to me that it is now /mu/'s turn to invent a new genre.
Here's how it will work. You must invent a new genre/scene which you think will take hold across the rest of the internet. You need to post the following:
1) A name for your scene/genre 2) Artistic ideas/aesthetic/themes 3) Cultural references 4) How the music sounds 5) How people should dress
Also, post an image that you think embodies your genre.
Everybody else, quote the posts to vote on them and when we have ourselves something that looks like it could take hold, we get to work producing the music and spamming tumblrs to create a new scene out of fucking nothing.
I've been learning music production for about 5 years and can produce decent quality tunes. I will lend my hand to creating the music, but we will need lots of people doing this, in addition to making images and inventing their clothing styles etc
