Idc what anybody says, this album ruined his career and he never was truly the same until right before he died. I hate it for what it is and what it did to him, it's sellout tacky garbage and he got sucked in the corporate trap. I'm not saying he was intending to do that on this one as he said it was meant to be a one-off thing as a callback to old R&B music like Little Richard or James Brown, but it's a slap in the face after his streak of 5 brilliant albums, including the ones he produced. It exists for the hits and the rest are filler, and I hate most of the hits (Let's Dance, China Girl), even he said that he lost his artistic integrity

I'm not saying that he didn't make decent albums after the 80s and especially in the early 2000s but none of the albums in the 30s years from 1983-2013 hold a candle to Low, Station to Station, The Idiot, Ziggy, Heroes, Scary Monsters, etc... And Outside sucks by the way, it's the contrarians favourite Bowie album despite is sounding like dated 90s garbage. And Earthling is just goofy. But hey I'm glad he made tens of millions of dollars off of this
