I never was one myself but that type of rule just reeks of nofunallowed.jpg.
It's not like ponies where the only reason anyone would use them is to intentionally shit up the board. If somebody likes to use images of a certain kind as a personal theme I see no reason to ban it outright as long as it's within the board's rules ie. anime avatars on /a/, vidya avatars on /v/.
On /tg/ we have been having a bit of an extended debate on the subject of people using the roller to play various types of collaborative games. I personally feel that the response from the moderation has adequately established that /tg/ is certainly the place for those things, but there still remain some dangling concerns.
-Permasage and Wordfilter: certain Quests and Nation Builders are automatically forced into permasage the moment they are created by either an active mod or a word filter looking for either "Quest" or "Builder". Mods have been asked, but no real consistent answer has been given regarding the policy behind the decision to enact such measures, and it would be helpful if /tg/ got the chance to learn something about this.
-Meta threads: Meta threads are, understandably, against the rules. However some have been consistently posting up meta-threads against Quests and Builders on /tg/. So far I do not know of any outright bans, but there have been plenty of warnings and statements by the mods to cut out the complaining. What is likely, at this point, to be the policy of the moderation staff?
-Input: Would there be a use for any input from board participants in ideas to possibly resolve any of these difficulties?

First, some guidelines (I'll clarify later.) DO NOT: DOX TOKIKO, RAID TOKIKO, OR ACKNOWLEDGE TOKIKO'S PRESENCE. I will clarify this later. Okay, let's get started.
Whatever you may think about the changes to /jp/, one thing almost everyone agrees on is that Tokiko needs to be banned from all boards. While some of these may genuinely be different people, I would like a moderator to check how many of the following belong to the same or similar IPs - the following are all users strongly suspected of being Tokiko.
Touhou Out >>63013 - LvMYM9ke, 5ld2W3WT, 7QkZ4vao, +zOvFiCh (?), OzdzcLEB (Demanding Touhou be condensed into one or two threads, more spamming about the fourth reich) Thread 9c >>54107 - MHEsVzYM, nykAInir (Falsifying general agreement on alternate set of rules, demanding Touhou be condensed into one or two threads.) Thread 9b >>54102 - c0T31fPX, wTGnVF9b, QQanNw15 (Falsifying full agreement on an alternate set of rules, spamming his pollcode poll, asks me if Tokiko raped me in my sleep, arguing with himself to make it look like his sockpuppets are remotely credible.) Thread 9 >>54082 - zUOlecLc, y+ghL/A2, qVuQSqLB (Falsifying full agreement his alternate set of rules, spamming his pollcode poll, accusing random posters of being Tokiko.) Thread 8 >>49462 - Nxe8RHjW (Falsifying full agreeement his alternate set of rules.) Thread 6 >>27108 - D9NvsBrm, xeDFf38m, WmVkGlTj, gH3wRewQ, rwsq6VMS [some false positives here, maybe] (Nazi comparison spam, Fantasy Kaleidoscope anime trolling, mistystuffer spam in /jp/.)
So it's pretty well known by now that 4chan as a whole is an extremely misogynistic site. Some boards much more than others, of course. But in places like /v/ or /r9k/ it's so very prevalent that it's becoming hard to ignore. Let's take /v/. I've not had a chance to look at it much over the last few days, but /v/ has always been filled with extreme disdain for anyone female, be them an imbecile like iJustine, or a developer like Jade Raymond. This in itself is not a problem, but all the posts expressing hate for women are. /v/ would get absolutely bogged down with threads about how much they hate some bitch on Youtube the OP found, or there are endless posts discussing how women are vile soulless creatures in all the "no gf" threads. Thankfully, we won't have those any more, but I doubt the misogyny will go away that easily.
Another big issue here is harassment. /v/ has been very eager to harass women in the past, and doxing and calls to raid them have been common. Hepler was one victim of this. Of course, this is against the rules, but the mods would rarely delete such threads/posts and it's still too widespread to be a problem solved by deleting and banning people.
