Are you using an IPS or TN type monitor /qa/?

Did you know that monitors perform dithering? You know like those old GIFs that use 2 different color dots to emulate other colors?
Well your monitor might be doing that too, right now and you just don't know it (except instead of using the dot method it flickers your pixels rapidly between a darker and lighter color to simulate one in between).
Of course it's not something you can easily verify, because it's not like you can take a screenshot and zoom in on it to see the dithering. It's in the hardware itself.

I was disgusted when I first found that out. Now I have my first IPS panel monitor and the color difference is absolutely amazing, since it can truly reproduce all the colors without relying on dithering, and the dark colors are so much deeper.
I don't think I'll ever go back to shitty TN panels.

Im desperately trying to find a survey for Greece from 2000 onwards that asks the mip (most important problem) question. Something like: :"what do you think is Greece biggest problem at the moment."
