So this could fall under metathread or humanities I suppose but I remember we've had a few good ones of these and as a 20 year old zoomer I know that some of the older of you on here were around for the oldnet and oldchan. Archives generally only starting being a thing for this place in 2008 so I'm more interested in stuff from prior to that period.

Basically I'm curious as to what the old internet was like and oldchan before Chanology and all that. The internet itself has been around for more than 25 years and reading encyclopedia dramatica stuff from that time period is what got me into 4chan in the first place so I've definitely idolized it a bit. Tell us some stories and post caps if you got them of what this was like.

What exactly is the big deal with the word "cunny"?

I often see people being banned for simply using it as a synonym for vagina. This term has existed as long as the internet and is not a 4chan invention and /tv/ only adapted it for something else.

An anon thinks /qa/ should have another read-togther of a VN where we designate a VN and we all read it and then have thread(s) to talk about it. It worked well well with Saya no Uta, but the second one didn't work out.
