I'M SICK AND TIRED OF SHITTY BROKEN STEAM CHATS AND BEING PEDDLED FAKE /QA/ DISCORD SERVERS

I WANT A *LEGIT* /QA/ DISCORD AND I WANT IT *RIGHT* *NOW*

I know /pol/ has always been a cesspool of retardation and shitposting, but lately spam and copypasta have flooded the board to the point where intelligent discussion is all but impossible, and when it occurs it never stays on the front page for long. I'd like to propose some new board rules that I think will help:

>All threads that reach 50 replies without a second post by OP will be automatically deleted
There are constantly at least 2 or 3 obvious troll posts devoid of political relevance with over 100 replies on the front page at any given time. Sorting out threads where OP does not engage in any discussion will weed out threads intended to provoke a reaction.

>Get rid of meme flags NOW
They were fun for a while but the quality of discussion has visibly deteriorated since they were added.

>Add the /r9k/ bot
An extreme measure I know, but disallowing repetitive posts will eliminate 90% of the troll threads. Even if it doesn't work it will at least make things more interesting.

I'm not proposing to implement all of these rules, but I think any one of them would help.

I judge /qa/ to be in need of pouts

Basic Rules

3. The design must prominently feature the 4chan clover logo.

I've been wondering a lot recently on why there are fandoms to something so specific as Japanese animation. Specifically in the West, why is there such a great fascination with the medium? I wonder why so many people take it for an interest (myself included), especially with anime films Kimi no Na wa Koe no Katachi reaching mainstream cinema recently. I personally think that there is something very life-affirming about the medium's message. Maybe it's all just wish fulfilment and my enjoyment comes from vicariously living through some Gary Stu or Mary Sue's accomplishments, but I think it reaches beyond that and that the medium's messages fill something that Western media lacks. Those are just my thoughts on the topic but I'm genuinely interested in what /lit/ thinks of the subject.
