You are Second Lieutenant CT-42/458, and you are standing in General Kenobi's improvised command center, the basement of an obsolete concrete bunker.

Six hours ago AT-TE 7330, the hastily repaired TX-130, and the remainder of the General's forces began the mop up operation of the B-1 battle droid stragglers. Afterwards, a relief force mostly consisting of Loyalist infantry arrived and began the search for survivors as well as taking over the garrison of the location, allowing for Kenobi and your two tanks to retreat back to the main base of Republic operations in the southern hemisphere, Shelter Base.

You have just finished providing your debrief of the battle, which you learned was for the control of the city of Jaxx.

You informed him and Commander Cody of all aspects of the battle excluding the discussion with Xtreme concerning Sparks going "off the reservation," Twitch's "marketplace," and other minor details about your first 24 hours in combat. You reexplained the encounter with the lightsaber user in more detail, bring up Crusader's sword fight with him when the General expressed his disbelief that mere clones were able to defeat a force user. Your report was concise, professional, and above all, utterly exhausting.

You are now standing at attention in a musty, poorly lit concrete room before the General, who is leaning on his hands at the edge of a battered holographic gambling table. On the table is an old paper map of the area, the table deactivated due to the number of fellow troopers setting up a generator in the corner, running power lines, setting up better lighting, and doing everything else to create a proper command center.

Fatigue clings to your muscles and you feel yourself struggle to maintain a stiff posture, though a small part of you is glad to see that the General is sagging with weariness. He rubs his eyes.

With the sound of computers and muffled voices you wake up in a stasis pod onboard the Air caste transport Kor'Ra'sha. Your eyes slowly start yo adjust to the bright lights as the pod slowly opens, melting the remaining ice on you and inside the pod.
As you step out from the pod with only a yellow jumpsuit a drone hovers slowly over to you, accompanied by what looks like an older Earth Caste doctor.

The doctor pulls up a small data pad and starts to look at the scan the drone is currently doing. After a while he dismisses the drone.
"I need to as yo ua couple of questions, just to make shure you haven't suffered any sdide effects from your time in stasis. First question, what caste do you belong to?"

He’s always been a protector of yours you suppose, the brother you never really had. When your single father would be too drunk to watch over you, he’d be there, taking your mind off of it all, just like she once did. Internally you groan, this is possibly the last person you wanted to see before you do this.

Last time on STANQ; Heading to work you notice you're being stalked and detect them on the way back so ditch them, disguise, and seduce them and make them your new PA as punishment for spying, more lewd, KJ thread 2's out as fuck when confronted with emotions, family dinner and movie night, more lewd, some character backstory, more lewd, make your new PA violet bond with the stone and teach survival class at your force academy, negotiate a deal with the jedi to see the former comatose receptionist and your son, Ranlis asks a favour to take on the traitor Wulf Irene and you glass and recruit the hairy space canadian angry manlet, put a hat on a space monkey, lewd, avoiding arrest after a supposed mutiny by the son of the Hutt reclaiming his supposed birthright, launching a rebellion to instate you as the rightful dictator and with some careful espionage, attacks, and plans, have garnered a large amount of civillian support, gained 4 more sabers in the process which if i'm not mistaken puts you at 23, 2 away from an unlockable , and had a really deep heart to heart with KJ ending in a bro hug.

And that's where we ended up.

It's Sunday, your first at Red Fields, and you've just had a nice breakfast with Jennifer. As expected, most of the students have gone home for the weekend, and the few that remain barely paid you any mind at all. It's a school for monsters and wealthy humans, so everyone with money has gone home to enjoy it and most of the monsters have returns to their covens, clans and packs. It makes you wonder how people like Andrea ended up here, but then again, you're a bit of an exception yourself.

You have the whole day ahead of you to do... pretty much whatever you like. You've got a couple of assignments you could work on, like the helmet for shop class, and you could work on your magic some more. Presence is still locked in her canister, Meliora is still KO'd and Sammy and Andrea, as far as you know, are still at Sammy's place. You've returned to your room after breakfast to figure out what you want to do with your time.

Same system as Become The Dragon Quest. If you don't know what that is, it's best of three d20 rolls. I name a stat that sums up what you're trying to do, and if I don't name a relevant skill, you try to fill in the blank based on what you're trying to accomplish. “Break open the door” might be Strength based, but if you've been playing baseball after school and there's a lead pipe nearby, you could apply your Baseball skill to the roll. A 20 on the die is a crit threat, and if either of the other two rolls is 20 or higher after mods, it's a critical. A crit fail is when you have two or more 1s. So far this system has worked out well enough. We'll get into combat rules as needed, but in basic terms you have wounds, not HP, and the worse the wounds, the more penalties you accrue while doing other things.

This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son, shortly after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. He's not in the best condition to be leading right now. He blew through EVERY SINGLE ONE OF HIS FLASKS. He must have had ten of them, some of them with alcohol so strong that it burned your eyes just sniffing the canisters. You're pretty sure he would be dead or at least near-dead under normal circumstances.

Nope! He's just got a bad slur. He's still making sense, but you don't trust 'still making sense' as enough of a benchmark to be leading during a dangerous mission.

Earlier you vanquished a dragon from Gallete. That dragon's sister, the lass who is now complaining nonstop; was imprisoned in Catland for reasons that you haven't figured out yet.

There's one more thing you haven't figured out, either.

"Pray tell," You turn toward the girl, "You said your father. What does he look like?"
"I- don't remember."
"How big was he?"
"I don't know."
"Well, you must know something about him, right?"

She's oddly silent.

The New Necrotic Armada strengthens its hold on a new system, Jadyk's Generals creating bunkers and fortresses on alien worlds. The Ahkam converted natives beginning planet-wide preparations and celebrations, bonfires and sacrificial altars blessed and stacked high with food.

Entropic Excavators shatter and consume vast amounts of stone and raw metal ore, the metal ingots left in their wake harvested and shipped out where they were needed in your Armada.

Across several systems Eyegores drift undetected, watching over planets circling strange stars. Ahkam and Osjiic forces grind each other to space dust, the nearly crippled ships of the Osjiic fleeing from the overwhelming numbers of the Ahkam worshipers. The massive pale serpent of an Ahkam disappearing below the cloud cover of the planet the two fleets had fought over, blue blood glimmering in the darkness of the void.

Under an energetic blue star spins a world overgrown by massive foliage. A craft appears on your Eyegores sensors, approaching the planet and finally it catches sight of the ship. A capitol sized ship crafted from intertwining branches curled around massive engines drifts to the planet. The radiation scarred Eyegore could detect no transmissions from the living ship but on the planet a canopy slowly bends away to present a landing platform.

The binary star hosting the factories of the Osjiic receiving new visitors as a small fleet of Osjiic warships appears in a flash of Void energy. They dock with the refueling plants, the fleet consisting of a pair of battlecruisers and a host of sub-capitols. Your dutiful craft intercepts transmissions inquiring to the lost fleet of Sub-Admiral Estkri.

Amanda sighs and shakes her head as Belladonna walks over to the other side of Amanda, tuning her violin as her little frilly headdress thing blows in the wind along with her hair.

"I'm almost ready" She says looking up, as a pair of raven black wings bursts out of her back "the dead shall dance to my tune once more"

"Tearing them from their rightful rest?" Amanda asks, lifting the brim of her hat so she can look at her

"Yep" Bel says simply as she plays a quick and violent string on her violin

"Wow that sounds real grim" Delia says cheerfully as she stomps her feet in place, bobbing her head in place to an unheard rhythm as she presses down on her trumpets "Can't you try and make it a bit more..I don't know, not so sad sounding? like, starting the party again?"

You sit with Tim, your fellow Quidditch teammate who will be joining the tryouts also, Glenn, one of your best friends who has The Gift and also Anya, your close bookworm friend.

Tim asks Glenn if he has any kind of prophecies about the try outs. Glenn, slightly annoyed says "It doesn't work like THAT..." while Anya is reading the Prophet and you can see the Deatheater who attacked to the Quidditch Friendly and escaped is still at large. You wonder if that was the guy who tried to kill you. But no matter... you have more important things to worry about now.

"MY ENDOTHERMIC MONSTER WILL CRUSH YOU ALL TO ATOMS! AND THEN CRUSH THE ATOMS INTO NOTHING!"

A black coral like hand fizzes out of the thermite fire. It's about as large as you are. You can only imagine what the rest will look like once it finishes growing.

Florina braces you for the coming of this giant monster! You feel your grip tighten! You feel your teeth brace! You feel ready to meet the challenge of whatever strange and horribly creature this may be, ready to fight, ready to win, ready to experience the honor and thrill of pitched, desperate combat!

...But then a thought at the back of your mind, more yours than Florians, reminds you that oh yeah, you can just turn the fire off...

The fire is going to rebel a bit though. Right now it wants to flare up and then go into the monster. That feels natural to it. Its going to need some of your willpower to go against its natural urges and just die out.

Although Florian is rather looking forward to fighting a giant fire-proof monster his will is still your will and he knows that sometimes its best to listen to your thoughts before his own. You get plus 2 to this roll.

You'll be the first one to admit that you don't actually know THAT much about religion. You know the basics – at least, you thought you did, in a more innocent time – but that's really it. Even so, you know enough to recognise that the angel that slowly descends upon you, leisurely drifting down from a sky gripped with churning storm clouds, is up to no good.

Frankly, you think it might be the wings that colour your opinion. The feathers are pitch black, and have a particularly oily sheen to them that you cannot help but find distasteful. His voice – a silky smooth tone that carries a faint whining tone in it – doesn't help either, and you find yourself taking an immediate dislike to the divine being. This guy, this THING, is someone Cassandra considers trustworthy?

She must be more desperate than you had first assumed.

As the angel descends upon you, the world seems to drop away, leaving the three of you – with the divine being making it four – suspended in a black void. This seems... familiar, somehow, and you can't quite shake the memories of Source from your mind. Distance becomes irrelevant in this strange space, and you have a vague sense of falling – as if you're about to hit the ground at any minute.

By three in the afternoon, all you wanted to do was finally go home and relax. "Ah... Mai... I want to see you already..." You sigh out. However, the picture of Mai on your desk would have to do for now. Just then, you receive a text from her.

"Hey Izumi! How are you doing today? Are we still on for dinner after work? It is our anniversary tonight"

"Ah! That's right it was our anniversary today..." You thought to yourself.
