http://pastebin.com/xCQZAdqUYou pore over the map with Griselda over a cup of coffee. With the heartbreaker of yesterday, combined with the now damaged tanks (The Sherman, the IS-2, the Panzer III, and the Pershing got off easy with simple one hit kills. But your Cromwell had a burnt out engine, not to mention that the Churchill is only barely functioning at all.), spirits were rather low. You had to push on though if you wanted to split the set with Heinlein today. This is your only chance to do so. “So here’s what I think. They probably think that with yesterday, we’ll be pushovers. So they might come up Route 15 again, try and attack us. We should try for some sort of dig in defense, and use our fast tanks to flank around to the rear, hopefully catch their Flag tank.”
“Sound idea,” you say.
“Is your tank ready?” You all look over to see Oleg, Stack, and Winona hurriedly tinkering with the engine, black smoke is rising out of it.
“I hope it is.”
“You’re going to lead that force, now… I recommend taking Skyline, they used that road last time to flank us.”
“Wouldn’t they have someone guarding that?” you ask.
“Well, maybe, but it’s better than wasting your engines out on climbing up to Armstrong. It’s up to you.” You nod at that. “Other than that, we should be set. Our flag tank for today happens to be the Pershing.” Oh fuck. “Look, Serafina listens to you, but, it’s a lot of pressure so I’d talk to her before the match starts, alright?”
“Alright,” you say. She pats your shoulder, smiling. “And hey, if we win, I better not be wearing that outfit.”
She runs a finger across her chest, grinning. “Cross my heart. Dismissed, Ellie.”
