The storms had finally passed on Rukor leaving the Ructu to emerge from their burrows and repair their homes. They are not alone in their efforts, Necrotic ships becoming nearly a common sight as they ferry supplies and enslaved Ahkam troops to the surface. The ructu are wary at first but after explanations in their native tongue by floating Think Tanks the former oppressors begin their work at reparations. Buildings are reinforced, kelp tanks expanded underground and modified to allow the growth of native plants and edible animals. Walls to protect against the hurricanes waves are raised in the shallows of the villages and rivers.

Progress was well underway when a booming echo races across the water, natives and workers looking up in alarm at the shockwave that shook trees and rippled the waves. The explosive sound was followed by what could only be a bellow of a living being, massive in size that carries for miles and miles.

A dark shape rises from the horizon into the air and ructu fall to the ground, shouting in dismay as the shadow unfurls a multitude of arms that stretch and reach out across the sky. Former Ahkam soldiers, used to the massive serpents they once called gods, are awestruck as the entity rises further into the sky.

The Fury of the Wormstar, once the Beast of Rukor, has finally awakened and carries itself to the sky. Armored limbs twist and stretch, testing the new limbs as the multitudes of weapon mounts across his form swivel and test their range of motion. It flies across the sky, its shadow falling across numerous ructu villages leaving behind the shattered chrysalis that once housed it.

The New Necrotic Armada has gained one of its greatest weapons, the bioship ready to live up to its name and yearning for battle.

The Fury of the Wormstar has awakened.

It has been two years since the events of Zootopia. Assistant Mayor Bellwether and Mayor Lionheart are still incarcerated in prison, serving a number of years for corruption and several other charges. Lionheart is expected to have a parole hearing within the next month. A fact not lost on the press... Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde have worked the Zootopia beat from Downtown, to Tundratown, to Sahara Square. They both are eager to work, dedicated, well-trained, and have taken the face of the modern ZPD. They have remained partners throughout these two years, growing closer despite their predator and prey differences. With that amount of time as police officers of the ZPD, they have gone through a number of experiences and gained enough insight to the ways of the city that Chief Bogo has seen fit that the two head up ZPD’s very first Investigation Squad: ZIS.

As detectives, the two are tasked with investigating missing mammal cases, training new recruits into the ZIS, looking into rumors of a new street toxin called ‘feral,’ as well as investigating any new case Bogo happens to drum up. The two work in a small, ill-managed office in the basement of ZPD. There are windows that leak little light in, but the light manages to constantly be eclipsed by the passing pedestrians at street level.

Over the past year, there has been an influx of Avian and Reptile immigrants to the populous of Zootopia. They make up about 20% of the growing population of the city, moving in next to the mammals of Zootopia. Many Mammals, predator and prey alike, find this disconcerting. Both Avians and Reptiles make claims of economic segregation in the city, seeing as how the majority of them live in low income housing within the Canal District, a water-based area with shady docks and boat houses. Tensions are high in the city as emotions of prejudice and fear begin to spring up from the dregs of the past.

"There, we're parked" Derrick says as the cart rolls to a stop in the back of the building you're supposed to be making a delivery to.

"You sure this is the right place?" Emi asks.
"Pretty sure" Derrick says. "I'm gonna go see if there's anybody here. You guys get Ilica out of the cart, but don't start unloading just yet"

Emi is first out of the cart, followed by the devils. You hand the (now sleeping) Ilica down to Emi before stepping out yourself.

"We still have to find mommy" Daisy says.
"Yeah!" Lily says.

Emi takes Ilica over to a nearby bench and sits her down, before sitting down next to her.

"Can I help?" You ask Emi.
"I think she just needs fresh air and some time to come down" Emi says. "I should be able to handle the aftermath... hopefully"

You turn around to see Derrick coming back from the building. "Good news" He says. "We can start unloading now. They weren't too happy with how late we showed up, but they were a bit more understanding after we told them what happened"

Lily and Daisy both fix Derrick with a stare and an angry pout.

"What are you... oh, right" Derrick says. "Well... we can't leave these guys high and dry, not when we have a job to do. But unloading doesn't look like it'll be too hard, so I should be able to handle it alone if you want to take these two to find Fran, Yuu"

Lily and Daisy turn their attention to you, giving you their saddest faces...

You are Tom Gainer, Class 5 Super and volunteer Cape. Today is a great day! You awake to the sun shine and the smell of Jim making pancakes. You put on your new outfit and trim the rogue hairs from your neat beard. Honestly, you think the facial hair was the best thing to come out of training in the wilderness. You like the ruggedness of it. You but a comb through your firetruck red hair before styling it a little and scramble downstairs for breakfast. You are surprised to see not just Jim at the table, but also Tiffany Cooke (aka Cicada Killer) in her crime-fighting costume and a man you don't recognize. You assume he's the other Union Cape currently trying to restore order to Crimson Beach as he is also in a costume.

Cicada Killer's costume very much reminds you of a wasp or similar insect. It even has insect-like wings on the back of the costume, draping down like a short cape. You take a brief moment to appreciate how the costume accentuates her physique.

"Tom Gainer! Speak of the devil!" The unknown man chimes in gesturing at you and smiling. "We were just about to call you down!"

You pick Makoto's short hairs out of your tongue--sleeping with your mouth open has always been a bad habit of yours. Lolling your tongue around on itself to relieve morning drymouth, you stretch upwards towards the ceiling, an audible crack in your back.

Relief! Finally.

Tussling Makoto's hair to wake her up, the heroine besides you begins to stir. Her eyes flutter and she glances up with a half-glance.

"Sooo...kariii?" She mutters groggily, which you think is supposed to be your name. You just smile and peck her forehead.

"It's me. I want to head out soon, if you don't mind." You whisper sweetly, brushing your nose against hers. "Today'ssss..."

Makoto wipes her eyes of sleep. "The day Paragon comes back from Europe...you want to talk to him about the Union?"

You sigh, throwing your legs over the side of the bed. "Yeah. I talked to him--there's no way he wants what Nighthawk is doing. I think he's the best option I have of ending all of this."

"Sounds good...I just need a few more hours, promise, and I'll go and go on patrol...!" She weakly thrust an arm up to the air, before zonking out and snoring softly. You roll your eyes, in the 'oh, you' sense and head out of the house.

Something catches your eye in the cafe just across the street--the man from forever ago who told you about Makoto back when you simple knew her as Hurricane, the awkward sidekick-coach. What was his name...? More interestingly, he was talking with...

Showstopper.

This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. I will not be incorporating the main show or the Boruto movie's plot into the quest, although some recognizable characters will be present. You play as a 12 year old Chunin named Takeshi. You have been assigned a Jounin squad leader named Hanto, and your two squadmates are Kichiro, a young delinquent, and Ai, a strange social outcast of a girl. You are of average skill in most aspects, although your sharp intelligence, and your jack of trades skill set have brought you far. You have just recently graduated to a Chunin after winning the final tournament. You've been regularly completing missions as a Chunin, and making progress in training. You have a busy week before your next mission.

I kick open the doors to the tavern, growling angrily. I've been running all over this town and this is the only place I haven't checked for that fat son of a bitch. I look around as some of the lads sing a drunken song that doesn't seem to have any lyrics besides, laughing and belching.

And then I see him, slumped over the counter, getting his mug filled by a redheaded Lass wearing a white shirt with pink flowers painted all over it, which is much too small for her in the first place.

I clench my fists as I stomp towards him, in a burning fury.

"Son of a bitch" I growl angrily as I glare at Baldrick as he sits up, blushing like a damn fool as he guzzels down his drink like a dying man, splashing it all over himself

"Adela, maybe we should go outside for some air and calm you down before we uh notify our superior of the current situation?" Ochamu says nervously, touching my shoulder like she expects me to just start screaming any moment, which I just might start doing! "I don't want you to say something you're going to regret"

"Well I doubt he's going to remember anything about today anyways" Yotshi sighs, shaking his head as he keeps his hand on his saber

"Still it pays to be polite and think ahead" Ochamu huffs as I sigh and shake my head as Jack walks in behind us, laughing his ass off

"Ooooh wow, and here I thought I was going to be dealing with professionals, well sorry sis, but it seems like we got to just go out...and handle it ourselves" He says as he leans over my shoulder, my face grinning back at me

"What are you crazy?!" Ochamu shouts shaking my doppelganger like a doll, which makes him make some really funny noises "The captain told us to Report to Baldrik with our findings and...oh who am I kidding, he isn't going to be of any help"

Beren is starting to age as much as you. Her face has always been slightly hooked, but now it's just becoming more so. In spite of that however, over years of living together, sharing your happiness and your trials, you've grown to love her more than you thought possible. Beren's cleverness and attentive support and shocking depth of care for you warm your heart every time you see her.

You and your son spend the early winter months continuing to work on the new cart. There's still so much to improve and you can't even begin to test it until the ground is solid and not covered in patches of slippery ice, freezing mud and patchy snow.

Thankfully, your extra time spent fixing up the cart has revealed several flaws that probably would have resulted in it falling to bits, given enough time. It still might, but by fixing those first, you've pushed that time back somewhat. Next to the usual tools your people make, keeping a cart in good shape is going to be a task and a half... You can only hope it proves its worth.

Welcome to A Song of Revenge and Gold: House Malroy Quest. In which you take the reins of a House of storied glorious past since Aegon’s Conquering, but whose fortunes have taken a turn for the worse in the doom that Robert’s Rebellion brought. You are Brynden Malroy, second son to Lord Vamos Malroy and Lady Esemella Hayford and the last living heir to Steadhold and House Malroy. The year is 285AC, two years after the Rebellion and a year after your return to Westeros.

House Malroy is a pre-genned House designed around the idea of a story within the Crownlands of a House fiercely loyal to the Targaryens and their attempts to live in this new world after Robert’s Rebellion. Lord Brynden Malroy is as well pre-genned but will take direction from the players in his ways and how he develops himself further. This Quest will be moderately more story driven than others of its kind, but the development of the House and her lands will take just as much importance.

If you’ve played one of the many Quests within the ASoIaF setting the rules of the SIFRP system should be known. I will be using the Game of Thrones edition, as well as a few of the expansions namely OOSP and a few house rules which will be explained as we come to them. If you have questions about how things work or why certain actions are taken I can explain them as we go along. In truth this is a learning experience for me as well.

Your old friends lay broken and dead at your feet.

Their boss steps out of the woods to meet you, a peaceful look on his face.

You know the most painful way to kill him and move to drive your daggers into his jaw.

He cheats.

You scream as he brings up his own blade and your hand sails off of your wrist.

Your name is Lucy Cook.

You're awake now.

You had found a nice cave to rest the night in, after fleeing from the city. It's far off the beaten trail and has a small clearing in front of it where the sun shines strongly through the canopy. You aren't certain but you think you hear a stream nearby.

You didn't go very deep in, just putting the effort into getting shelter from the wind before you collapsed from exhaustion.

It seems you scratched your wrist over a rock or something in the night.

I'm working on running a 5e campaign. I haven't Dungeon Mastered for a while, and I've never run a campaign that had lots of pre planned material, and I want to come back with a bang.

I want to hit some hard cliches: Evil Lich amassing an army of the dead, and a Red Dragon that is terrorizing cities and villages looking for delicious humans.

Problem is, I have no idea what kind of quests I can run in the campaign that would level the party to the point where they can fight these powerful enemies. Any suggestions?

Also, I want the Lich and the dragon to be independent of each other, so basically, the realm is trying to deal with these two terrible threats, but can't focus on either one with all of their resources.

What can a low to mid level party do to protect a kingdom from a Lich and a Dragon, other than outwardly fighting the Lich and the Dragon?

Your name, is Isabella Voltaire. Your valiant efforts to distract the dragon while the princess fetched a stone from your draconic opponent’s treasure hoard proved successful. You actually managed to severely injure the dragon and to leave almost unscathed with your kingdom’s princess and the stone, if not for your pained ankle that you deem is in a less than optimal state. You do not know what exactly it was that left you like that, for when you try to remember it you tense in fear and your agony worsens.

Your arm around the princess you were tasked to rescue, you limp towards the nearest inn you could find with her aid. Well, in what counts, you succeeded, even though most of the work was not your part, but rather a joint effort of you, the elf, and the princess all together. You remember seeing the elf with a couple of injuries, but to his fortune nothing that could really leave him permanently unable to fight, which you fear is your case.

Both of you get into the inn. It is rather rustic and humble, having and it looked like the kind of place that would invite travellers, but to your luck, it seems relatively empty, and the man at the counter is old, polite and smart enough to recognize the look of emergency in the princess, and lets you in without saying much of a word, merely observing the situation. After setting down on a table, Jeanne carefully removes your greave to take a look at it.

You work your way down the hill the cabin rests on back near the totems in the clearing. You find a patch of long grass and lay in it. You take the time to dirty your robes for a better chance at staying hidden.

You lay looking at the sky. It's early evening and you haven't felt this exhausted since... well you haven't ever felt this exhausted.

You close your eyes and drift into a deep sleep. You dream you are walking down a never ending road... after a while you hear laughter. The same laugh from the woods. Two glowing red eyes appear in front of you and you spring awake, gasping for breath.

You are Urist Twelfthbay, and you are a short, sturdy creature fond of drink and industry. As the moe personification of Dwarf Fortress, you're pretty damn confident in your architectural skills.

Sure, you've got glitches coming out the wazoo, and your approach to physics is best described in terms of body counts and one of those "X Days Since Our Last Gruesome Accident" signs, but you think you've managed to work around that shit. Hell, you could even say that you've made those glitches your own, incorporating them into your building style.

That being said, there are things even you'd be hesitant to build. It's not a LONG list by any stretch of the imagination- mermaid capturing/breeding/harvesting chambers are right up on the top- but it /does/ include the vast majority of buildings emblematic of Gamindustri's twisted universe. By that, you mean stuff that exists just to capture the extremely Japanese essence of cute girls doing titillating things, occasionally to each other, as if your universe was designed by lonely dumbasses with nothing better to do.

Stuff like a goddamned hot springs resort, smack-dab in the middle of your wide-open monster-spawning first cavern-layer.

"Aww, c'mon, Urist!" Neptune whines. "You can't pass up this opportunity! Just look at this place! It's like it was made expressly for this purpose!" The goddess of Planeptune, soaking wet from head to toe, points at your underground lake. It's all but rubbing shoulders with a magma pool, heating the water to a comfortable boil.

“Your problems,” you muse, “are so alien to me, it's amazing. Like a man telling a fish that his knees hurt. Besides, I'd scream. Oven can't muffle it that good.”

“Harder lives one floor down,” Goto reminds you. “If they release him today, he'll be blasting Smash Mouth till nine.”

“He shuts it off at nine?”

“Just turns it down, according to Hamp. You rip into him for stowing away on the C-5 yet?”

Ilica turns and licks your cheek, then panics as the cart hits a bump and swats your head.

"What do we do?" Emi asks. "Can we get all the way to Contique with her like this?"
"We can be there by nightfall if I push this thing" Derrick says. "Can you guys manage?"

You hold out a hand to stop her from hitting you, and it gets bitten.

"Dang..." Derrick says. "If we stopped, we could load whichever box has the nip in it onto the roof. That might make things better"

Today was supposed to mark the completion of your first 15 years of education alongside your fellow torchbearers. There was going to be a celebration and a ceremony, but the entire day is a blur. The last thing you remember is drinking out of a chalice alongside your peers, Father Pyrrhus telling you that this night, you will finally earn your names.

You begin to open your eyes as the shaking of a cart riles you awake, but your vision doesn’t return. Your hands are constrained behind your back by rope, there’s some kind of cloth wrapped around your eyes. You begin to shout but someone hits you in gut, winding you. A familiar voice whispers to you. “You are beyond the safety of the walls. We can only teach you so much from the inside. Return to the gates on the sunrise of the third day, do this and you will have earned your place in the order.”

You begin to panic as your bonds are cut and you are thrown from the carriage onto the ground below. The surface is damp and muddy. You want to scream but you’re afraid to attract any attention. You remove the cloth from your eyes and get a better view of your surroundings. You’re lying to the side of a deteriorating old road running through some woods. It’s the dead of the night, but the light of the moon is more than enough to get a good view of your surroundings. Fog makes it difficult to see where either end of the road leads but you can hear the sound of the cart heading in one direction. What should you do?
